The use of electricity is indispensable in every sphere of modern day-to-day life. Since there is hardly any field in which electrical engineering is not applicable. To understand the electric systems are the need of the hour for today’s Engineers, therefore this lab is compulsory for students of every branch. The lab is designed to cover course contents of University, in which the basics of electrical engineering are emphasized.

The objective of this lab is to impart the basic practical knowledge in the field of electrical and electronics Engg. and to develop the students' ability to apply the specific procedures to analyze the fundamentals of electrical and electronics Engg. systems. This lab covers the basic topics like RLC circuits, Line and phase voltage and line and phase current relationship in case of star and delta systems, 3 phase induction motor, Different methods to control the speed of dc motor. Study of different gates, LVDT, different types of instruments and semi conductor devices. Fundamental concepts regarding various types of instruments are also learnt by students.
